One of my customers inherited some transferable guns, but his wife told him to get rid of them. Rather than call a divorce lawyer, he called me and asked me to find them a new home. He and I decided that it would be a good idea to raffle them off, and donate the proceeds to the Friends of the NRA.
The first gun is a Ruger AC556, series 191. It has a wood stock and the 18", blued barrel. We are selling 400 tickets, at $25 each. 1st place gets the gun, 2nd place gets $1k donated to their local FoNRA chapter, in their name.
The second raffle is two transferable Tommy guns. 1st is a 1943/44 Bridgeport M1A1. 2nd is a WH 1928, with FBI case and drum. We are selling 2,000 tickets, at $50 each. 1st place gets their choice of the two. 2nd place gets the remaining gun, and 3rd place gets $10k donated to their local FoNRA chapter, in their name.
One more thing: I am taking care of any and all transfer taxes!
The drawings will be conducted once all the tickets are sold for that raffle. The drawing will be done using an online randomizer program. No employee, agent, or officer of Elite Tactical Systems, Inc., nor any of their family members, are eligible to enter the contest. In the event that the winner is not eligible to win their prize, the prize will be awarded to the second place winner, with the second place prize being awarded to the third place winner in the Thompson raffle. The donations to Friends of the NRA will be made via USPS Money Orders, made out in the names of the appropriate winners, and sent to their local FoNRA chapter.
