NFA Transfers

As an FFL / SOT, we can help handle any NFA weapon transfers you need processed. For those buying an NFA weapon from an out-of-State seller, you will need to have an FFL / SOT serve as an intermediary, in accordance with the National Firearms Act. If the seller is an FFL / SOT, the transfer to us would be done tax-free, with the subsequent transfer to you being taxed by BATFE. If the seller is not an FFL / SOT, both the transfer from the seller to ETS, and the transfer from ETS to you, are taxed by BATFE. We have handled a number of interstate transfers, and are quite familiar with the process. We promise to make your transfer as snag-free as humanly possible.

We charge $50 plus any actual expenses (e.g. shipping) for NFA transfers. In the event of a multi-weapon transfer, we will give a significant discount.

Engraving

A non-FFL may legally make an NFA weapon of their own, as long as they follow the NFA guidelines. One of those guidelines is a requirement to engrave the firearm with the makers name, city, and State. We can take care of that for you, ensuring that the engraving meets the legal standards. We can also engrave firearms with various logos or markings, such as military insignia or custom work. Please call for a price quote on our engraving services.

Gunsmithing

ETS has available several gunsmiths to work on your firearms. If you need the barrel changed on your AR, or a shotgun barrel shortened, we can do it for you. We can also thread most barrels, in order to fit a suppressor. Our primary gunsmith, Tom, has been working on firearms since he enlisted in the Marine Corps as a Small Arms Machinist, in 1969. He is also retired from the automotive industry, where he worked as a tool & die machinist. If he can't find the part you need, he can surely build it. Tom's son, John, is also an accomplished gunsmith, and can do wonders with a 1911. His woodworking skills result in stocks which are objects of beauty. Brokerage

Frequently, there comes a time when a customer is either looking to buy a particular item, or they are looking to sell something. At ETS, we have a number of sources for finding what you desire. We are also often able to find a buyer for your items. Often, things such as transferable machineguns might be difficult for a person to sell within their limited geographic market. Using tools such as the internet and our vast industry-wide network of friends and colleagues, we can help greatly expand your market. The fees for brokering a weapon sale vary, based on type of weapon, actual expenses involved, and time needed to complete the sale. However, you won't find anyone more dedicated to helping you succeed, with your satisfaction being the most important factor.
